A weekly hair regeneration plan for all hair types

Hey! How are you?

Today I’m offering you a real treat. A post that many of you keep asking about regularly. A weekly hair rescue plan. It works wonders, is tried and tested, proven by me, 100% effective. Owing to these week-long treatments, my hair doesn’t fret winter, summer or seasonal changes. I managed to regenerate my hair after scorching summer and freezing winter in a week! Trust me, this is feasible and the best part about is that you don’t need any help of professional hairdressers’ or spending a small fortune on costly in-salon treatments. How to do this? You will be surprised how simple it is! So, without further ado – let hair regeneration begin! 🙂

How to regenerate hair in a week: MY PERFECT PLAN

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 1: Cleansing, scrub, detox

Before you start carrying out any of the treatments I’m about to tell you, you have to cleanse both the scalp and the entire hair length so as to free them from toxins and cosmetic residues.

Therefore, on the first day I do scalp scrub and I wash my hair with a deeply cleansing shampoo. There is one thing I have to tell you about scalp scrubs: you don’t have to buy a big bottle of this product. You can get the portion that suffices to do one scalp exfoliation. Once my head and hair are perfectly clean, I often follow with a hair mask. The hair mask that I use is nutrient-rich, full of hair-regenerating flavonoids and at the same time super lightweight – I don’t want to overburden my hair right at the beginning of my weekly regeneration plan. Therefore, I suggest you to look for hair masks that contain vegetable, herbal or fruit extracts.

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 2: First hair oil treatment

On the second day of my hair regeneration plan, I treat my hair with the best regenerating elixir that exists – natural beauty oils. It can be just one chosen oil, or a ready-made blend created to improve the state of hair and scalp. Personally, I hate using Hindu oils because I can’t stand their smell. Recently, I’ve been using Nanoil for medium porosity hair and to me this is the best oil blend I’ve ever used. It seems to be perfectly suitable for my hair, it smells wonderful and can be applied to scalp.

Spread an oil over washed hair (try to use a shampoo that opens hair cuticles) and scalp – damp hair absorbs oils better. Let this oily mask sit for more or less an hour; if you have time, you can leave it overnight (wrap the hair with a towel so as not to stain a pillowcase). In the morning you should wash the hair thoroughly.

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 3: Vitamins, herbs, masks

Since natural oils supply hair with many precious fatty acids and quite a number of vitamins, it would be really bad to let these marvels evaporate. Therefore, to help your hair retain all the nutrients, treat the strands with an additional portion of vitamins through applying a hair mask. In most cases such hair care products offer you an additional moisturizing effect. More often than not hair remains smooth for really long.

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 4: Moisturizing

If you want to replenish hair with water, you must reach for humectants. What’s worth realizing, you shouldn’t use them often because you may achieve the effect that is contrary to what you really expect to get. During my weekly hair regeneration plan, there is just one day that I devote to humectants – this does the job, trust me.

The best type of moisturizers that are well-tolerated by hair are: panthenol, glycerin, aloe and hyaluronic acid. You can buy them in the form of a mask, conditioner, hair wash or scalp conditioner – the choice is yours. I go for a lightweight moisturizing hair mist. This is all I need to get my hair replenished with water.

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 5: Second hair oil treatment

Hair oil treatment is so incredibly effective that it’s hard for me to compare its power to anything. Therefore, I often treat my hair with oils during my hair regeneration week. I used to replace natural oils with fairly expensive hair ampules but I came to the conclusion that such treatment doesn’t make much sense – natural oils serve the purpose perfectly. Besides, hair ampules have to be spread on scalp only, whereas natural oils can be applied to the hair length.

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 6: Keratin

What would hair regeneration be without this famous keratin? If you want to have strong and thick hair which doesn’t look like hay – take a liking to keratin. The good news is that the hair preparations available in a drugstore are as effective as the professional products used in hair salons. What I want to say, you don’t have to arrange a visit with a hairdresser because now you can carry out the keratin treatment at home. I recommend you using the OGX series. Generally, keratin masks should be applied to hair when the cuticles are raised, therefore before spreading such product, wash your strands with a deeply cleansing shampoo first.

Weekly hair regeneration plan DAY 7: Vinegar and oils (third hair oil treatment)

Devote your last day of weekly hair regeneration plan to hair oil treatment. Apply a natural oil one more time as you did this twice before: to scalp, to hair and leave it for an hour or more. Wash the hair but for the final rinsing use vinegar instead of water – it can be apple vinegar or a special hair wash by Yves Rocher. Vinegar helps to close hair cuticles and leaves the strands incredibly shiny. To me, vinegar is a cherry on the top of this regeneration plan. It balances scalp’s pH, boosts hair shine and makes it pleasantly soft. Basically, I use vinegar hair wash more frequently than only during my weekly hair regeneration plan.

Weekly hair regeneration plan is over. What’s next?

Obviously, it’s a good thing to help the effects achieved due to weekly hair regeneration plan last as long as possible. How to enjoy healthy-looking strands? Protect the hair from damage and apply a serum for hair ends. Additionally, reach for delicate and natural hair styling products – perhaps there is no other more hair-destructive thing than a gel or spray that is full of synthetic substances. I style my hair using flaxseed gel – it’s just marvelous because not only does it nourish hair but also it boosts hair shine.

I’d also like to give you one more suggestion. On hot days or when you spend time in rooms where temperature is high and the humidity is low, try to use some kind of moisturizer on a daily basis. I’d advise you to carry a herbal distillate and use it regularly to spritz it over your hair and face. As far as I’m concerned, all the hair maniacs use hair mists and floral waters that can be applied to damp hair prior to blow-drying. Many of them contain natural oils so as to protect hair against urban pollution.

EXTRA:
RECIPE FOR FLAXSEED HAIR GEL

I’d like to share with you my recipe for ultra fast flaxseed hair gel. Pour lukewarm water over flaxseed (water should cover the seeds) and leave it overnight. Your flaxseed hair gel is ready to use right in the morning. Just remove the seeds before applying the gel to your hair. Basically you can add it to your homemade hair masks.
